Fair Housing Statement.

Equal Housing Opportunity

BAO Real Estate LLC and FTL Apartment Rentals are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the Nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other class protected by federal, state, or local law.

Federal Fair Housing Act

The Federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians; pregnant women; and people securing custody of children under 18), and disability.

Florida Fair Housing Act

The Florida Fair Housing Act (Chapter 760, Florida Statutes) mirrors federal law and additionally protects against discrimination throughout the State of Florida.

Broward County Human Rights Act

In addition to federal and state protections, the Broward County Human Rights Act (Chapter 16½ of the Broward County Code) prohibits housing discrimination based on additional protected classes, including sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, age, ancestry, actual or perceived status as a victim of domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking, and source of income (as defined by the Act). We are committed to full compliance with all Broward County fair housing requirements. Complaints may be filed with the Broward County Human Rights Section.
